Swedish Design
Every Lösning tool starts with an engineer, a drawing, and a problem to solve.
Sweden has a long tradition of precision engineering — from the bearings in SKF to the cutting tools used in Volvo’s drivetrain machining lines. Lösning is built on that same tradition: rigorous geometry, uncompromising tolerances, and a refusal to cut corners in the design process.
Our engineering work happens in Sweden. Geometry, helix angles, edge preparation, and coating specifications are defined here — then handed to manufacturing partners in Taiwan who hold those specs to the same standard we would demand in any European facility.
What Swedish Design Means in Practice
Geometry First
Rake angle, relief angle, and helix profile are engineered for specific workpiece materials — not copied from a generic catalogue.
Tight Tolerances
h6 shank tolerance as standard. Runout specs defined before production begins, not inspected out at the end.
Coating Engineering
AITiN and TiSiN nano coatings selected for hardness, thermal resistance, and adhesion — not just price.
Material Selection
Ultra-fine grain carbide substrates specified for toughness and edge retention across the full cutting range.
Manufactured in Taiwan. Why It Works.
Modern CNC grinding facilities in Taiwan operate at tolerances that match the best European production lines. Our manufacturing partners hold ISO-aligned processes, and every batch is inspected before dispatch. The result is a tool that performs like a European product and ships at a fraction of the lead time.
