Our Story
Built by machinists. Trusted by manufacturers.
Lösning was founded by a team of Swedish engineers who spent years specifying cutting tools for production environments — and grew tired of the same trade-off: either pay a premium for well-engineered European tooling, or accept the inconsistency of unbranded imports.
The answer was a third path. Design the tools in Sweden, where the engineering tradition runs deep. Manufacture them in Taiwan, where modern carbide grinding facilities operate to tolerances that match — and often exceed — European production lines. Ship them at a price that makes sense for workshops of every size.
Designed in Sweden. Built for the World.
Every geometry in our catalogue starts in Sweden: rake angles, helix profiles, edge preparations, and coating specifications are defined by our engineering team before a single blank is ground. Production partners in Taiwan are held to the same inspection standards we would apply in Gothenburg.
The result is a line of solid carbide end mills, drills, and indexable inserts that perform predictably, last longer than their price suggests, and arrive quickly — wherever in the world your machine shop is.
